Programme Note

Vestiges du temps extends the Organic Augmented Instruments research to ensemble scale. Cross-projection connects flute, clarinet, violin and cello with a microtonally tuned piano that functions as a central resonating and projecting body within an organically integrated electronic system.

Conceived in dialogue with Gérard Grisey’s Vortex Temporum, the work imagines a “fourth time”: a cosmic duration running from primordial breath and explosion towards galactic expansion. Immersive light by Hugues Grand transforms the perception of space, matter and temporal scale.
