In Emergence of Speakings, breath, bow friction and instrumental mechanisms become the raw materials of a constantly shifting sonic environment. Amplified gestures, unstable resonances and feedback create intricate relationships between acoustic sound, physical movement and electronic transformation.

Across three movements, flute and double bass engage in an evolving dialogue of gestures, resonances and contrasting sonic textures. Contact microphones reveal subtle variations of breath, friction and instrumental sounds, while an augmented double-bass bow and performer-controlled electronics open new possibilities for acoustic-electronic interaction.

The boundaries between instrumental gesture and electronic transformation progressively dissolve, while the physical identity of both instruments remains central to the musical experience.
