Tracer le souffle explores air as a trace through an amplified accordion, two microphones and effect pedals. The accordion is approached as pneumatic machine, friction object and percussion body, while the microphones become playable extensions accessible to the performer’s hands and breath.

Delay, loops, reverberation and white noise multiply the sources of souffle. Human respiration, bellows, microphone friction and processed air repeatedly merge and separate, moving between fragile disappearance and saturated resonance under the performer’s direct control.
