Programme Note

Reverberated Grain explores the Extended Pedal through a two-performer configuration. Both musicians access the open piano from different positions, sharing resonance control while working with strings, case, friction and accidental key activation.

The instrument becomes a space of circulation rather than a frontal keyboard. Grain emerges from contact and movement, and the choreography of reaching, crossing and listening becomes inseparable from the resulting resonant texture.
