Performing the Spaces is conceived as a mobile, site-responsive concert rather than a sequence of works presented from a fixed stage. Three musician-performers guide listeners through changing locations, distances and acoustic perspectives, making the movement of performers and audience part of the musical form.

Architecture acts not as a backdrop but as an active condition of listening. Resonance, visibility, proximity and direction continually alter the perception of instrumental gestures, while each new location establishes a different relationship between performer, listener and surrounding space. Sounds may be approached, crossed, reflected or encountered at a distance, allowing the same site to reveal multiple acoustic and perceptual states.

The work therefore moves between concert, performance and installation. Its form emerges through the journey itself: successive spaces retain traces of what has already been heard while continually reframing what follows, turning movement through the site into a changing experience of sound, memory and place.
