Fugitive Lines follows short-lived gestures and lines as they emerge, transform and disappear across the viola.

Scored for viola, the work brings viola, solo and line into a concentrated musical relationship. It was commissioned by IMPULS Festival and Ulrich Mertin. The premiere context is documented as IMPULS Festival, Graz, Austria.
