Sarments d’espace develops a large chamber field of branching gestures, resonance and spatially perceived instrumental colour.

Scored for fourteen instruments, the work brings large ensemble, space and branching gesture into a concentrated musical relationship. It was commissioned by Klangforum Wien. The premiere context is documented as IMPULS Festival, Graz, Austria.
