Composition as a Space of Inquiry
Martin Loridan’s work brings together musical composition, artistic research and instrumental experimentation. Through collaboration with performers, researchers and instrument makers, he explores how breath, gesture, space and resonance can reshape relationships between musicians, acoustic instruments and electronics.

Martin Loridan is a French composer and artistic researcher based in Brussels. A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris and holder of a PhD in Composition from the University of Leeds, he is Professor of Composition and Orchestration at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
