Circle(s) multiplies friction surfaces, contact sources and instrumental zones across the amplified cello. Hands, fingers, bow hair and bow wood interact with strings, bridge and body, creating a continuum between air, grain, harmonics and unstable pitch.

The circular gesture acts as both shape and breath. Almost continuous rubbing escapes the finite duration of physiological respiration, while amplification reveals minute changes of speed, pressure and contact. The cello becomes a versatile air-filtering chamber in constant physical circulation.
